Others Online

Does It Really Matter How We Approach Others Online

by Alice Coaxum

You decided for some reason or another that internet marketing is the career for you. You want to work from home and make lots of money. So much money that you never need to take a 9-5 JOB again.

Is money all that a marketer should think of, earning money at any cost?

As an internet marketer you do want to make money online and offline as well if possible. Almost every day on the internet, we come across new people as well as connections we have already made online.

When it comes to our opportunity, services or products, does it really matter how we approach and treat others online if gaining a sale is the bottom line? For me it does.

Here are three things you may not want to do if you plan on being successful and not just grabbing a few sales here and there.
  1. Messaging others unsolicited in their inboxes. For many this is annoying. Why not start a mailing list where others may opt in to receive your messages?
  2. Add a full page ad in the profile or blog comments sections or on someone's wall. This is not the way to gain a customer. It makes you look pushy because you are encroaching on the rights of another. They have the right to talk about whatever they want on their profile and blog. That could include advertising.

Why would they want your ad on their page or in their comments section, basically stealing their traffic? Why not fill out your own profile properly and make your own friends and connections. You could even set up your own blog with great content and talk about whatever you like in your own space without offending anyone.
  3. Don't hype up the product, opportunity or service just to make a quick buck. Not only will many people reverse the payment but also never take your word again. More likely than not they will spread the word about you.
Be honest. If it doesn't pay or work or do like you said it would it can be a bad reflection on you. Never lie and say you have personally tried something that you haven't.

Never bring someone into an opportunity that you already figured out is horrible. Guess what? They will figure it out too. Your reputation is easy to damage and hard to repair so guard it with care. That rhymed, but it's true.

While being an ethical marketer will not gain you riches overnight it can set you on the path to gaining all that you desire and more.

Are You Blogging Yet?

by Alice Coaxum

A blog can be likened to an online journal where you can write about any and everything for the whole world to see. There are many topics you can write about as a blogger, from weight loss to celebrities, hair care, recipes and cats.

Whatever you are passionate about you can blog about. You can blog about your personal life. You can blog your reviews of different movies, songs, games and products. You can even blog about why others should blog and what they can blog about, provided quality information to help other bloggers along their way.

What can a blog do? A blog can help other get to know you from your writing style. With blogging you are catering to a specific group of people. Every blog doesn’t appeal to everyone even if the blog is random and not just about one particular topic.

Take a moment to think about where your passion is, what can you easily and consistently talk about that will cause others to visit your blog more than once and on a regular basis. It’s not always hard to bring a visitor to your site one time but it can be harder to keep them coming back.

How many blogs have you visited, never to return again? Why is that? Either it didn’t catch you attention and keep you interested or it wasn’t important enough to visit if you didn’t have much time and so you chose other websites to view instead.

Blog with the reader in mind. Make sure your blog posts are readable and sound like you are fluent in whatever language it is you are writing in. Check for spelling errors and other errors to make it as easy as possible for the reader. If your blog post looks like gibberish you can count on many people clicking the X on the upper right hand side of their browser. Spend a little time working at it and you will get the hang of it.

But what if you aren’t good at writing? You can either hire a ghost writer to pen your work for you which can be quite expensive or you can purchase PLR material that you can edit as you please. This comes in handy with blogs that are very niche, examples: blogs just about recipes, blogs just about dogs, blogs just about skin care. PLR material can help you avoid the frustration of running out of material. After all that is what keeps a reader coming back.

You can gain faithful readers who may want to join your mailing list, purchase your products or follow you on various social networking and bookmarking sites if you keep them interested and provide quality content.

6 Tips For Blogging Success!

by Coach Cris

If you want to make money through blogging, creating a popular blog is the key to success. If your blog receives very little traffic, you will not have much success monetizing it. No matter which method you use to make money from your blog, you will find the most success if you have a large readership. Because of this, making your blog popular and growing readership should be one of your primary concerns.

There are many ways to make your blog more popular. The first thing you should consider is who your audience is and who you are writing for. You should always write about something that interests you, and that will interest others. You may think that your new kitten is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but there are probably not very many other people who want to read a blog about it. It is best to find a niche audience that is large enough to support a wide readership but not to vague.

One of the great things about blogging is that you do not have to be a professional writer to have a popular blog. You do have to obey common grammatical rules and at least be able to put together coherent sentences, but you do not have to be a highly skilled writer.

1. Blog readers are looking for interesting, relevant topics to read, not the next work of Shakespeare. Make sure what you write is interesting, edgy, or even controversial. Popular blogs are never boring and add value to readers lives either through information or entertainment. Make sure your blog adds something of value to your readers life otherwise you will not develop a large fan base.

2. Making your blog popular is a lot like driving traffic to a website. You can use many of the same techniques to drive traffic to your blog. Finding places to link back to your blog is a good way to drive traffic. Social sites such as Myspace, Facebook, and You tube provide lots of opportunities for this. You can also use social book marking sites such as Reddit, StumbleUpon, and Digg to promote your blog. Blogging on a popular blog site such as Wordpress and Blogger are also good ways to make your blog more popular as these blogging sites help to bring in traffic for your blog.

3. Whether you blog on a blogging network or you have an independently hosted blog, you need to make sure your blog is designed well. It is true that content is king and if a blog has great content is may receive lots of traffic even though it is ugly, having a well designed blog that is not ugly or annoying will help to drive repeat traffic. You want your blog to look unique, but not too unique. Keep with internet formalities such as blue links and use large font for headings.

4. You should break your post up into small paragraphs each with a headline if possible as internet readers tend to scan the screen looking for relevant information rather than reading everything word for word. Make sure your colors do not contrast too harshly and that the text is easy to read. Using good design will make your blog aesthetically pleasing and make readers more likely to come back and remain on your page.

5. No matter where your blog is hosted, you should try to get it indexed by all the major search engines. Some forms of blog monetization require that your blog be indexed by search engines before they will allow you to participate in your program. The higher ranked your blog is, the more visitors you will receive and the more popular your blog will become.

6. All forms of monetization for your blog require readers to work successfully. Before you try to implement your monetization strategies, make sure your blog has enough readers to make your efforts work. If there is no one to click your ads, visit your affiliate sites, or read your reviews, you do not stand much of a chance of making money. Want to start building your blog empire? Then watch over my should and see how I set up and modify a blog from start to finish.

Build Your Business With Niche Affiliate Marketing

by Emmanuel Mba

If you want to try your hand at affiliate marketing (why not, it's easy!) but the idea of promoting a bunch of different products you have no interest in doesn't hold much appeal, then niche affiliate marketing is probably for you. Many people simply look online at the programs and websites that offer the biggest commission for affiliate marketers, they build websites promoting those programs, or they write ads or articles to do so, and they sign up for several different types of programs. Many of them are programs about how to make money on the Internet, which is one of the hottest types of affiliate marketing programs out there.

But what if you don't care for that scattershot approach of several different types of programs? And what if the idea of getting started in affiliate marketing by promoting programs that teach affiliate marketing or promise to help customers make money online feels strange to you or makes you uncomfortable (particularly if you haven't used the program, and really don't know if it really delivers on its promises)? There is a way to make money with affiliate marketing without making yourself uncomfortable with what you're selling, or having to sell several different types of products: niche affiliate marketing.

What knowledge do you have that other people might want? If you're shaking your head, thinking you couldn't possibly have any valuable knowledge, you're not thinking hard enough. Think of everything you've done successfully or know how to do. Just because these things came easily to you, or you think of them as everyday humdrum things in your own life, doesn't mean that other people won't find it fascinating or helpful. If you have children, that alone is a gold mine of opportunity for affiliate marketing. Just based on your experience with raising a child, you have advice and tips to offer potential parents who are hungry for information about the best way to do things. If you've had pets, the same holds true. If you know how to golf, or spelunk, or catch record-breaking catfish. . . anything you do holds the potential for niche affiliate marketing.

You might be wondering how this leads to niche affiliate marketing. It's simple. Let's say your interest is parenting. Find a parenting and child-related merchant that offers an affiliate program. Once you get that set up, then write an article about parenting. Don't panic, it's not hard! Simply write a short article, about 500 words or the length of this article about something relating to parenting. Possibilities are the steps you took to wean your child from bottles or pacifiers, how you began teaching the child to read, home remedies you used for diaper rash. You don't have to be a writer, you only have to be able to convey that information. Then at the end you put your affiliate link.

The more you write the more people will read and click your link, so the more money you'll earn with niche affiliate marketing.

Are You Suffering From Information Overload?

by Alice Coaxum

On the internet, books, self help learning courses and tutorials are abundant. You can find all types of different topics, related to home based business to learn about from time management and networking to having the right mindset and technical techniques.

I am one who loves to learn. I ooh and aah when the latest courses and books come out that interest me and you might do the same. As someone who works from home I know that there is a lot of competition out there and I try to expand my knowledge by learning all that I can.

However there should be boundries, even when it comes to learning. Too much of a good thing can be bad.

You might ask yourself how can learning ever be bad?
Learning can be bad when:

It causes you to suffer from information overload. Which simply means there is so much for you to learn that you wind up feeling frustrated, more confused than when you started and overwhelmed. Because of this you accomplish nothing.

You don't know whether you are coming or going because you are involved in so many different courses that you really aren't learning anything. You're not applying what you learn because each course is telling you to do something different and you don't know who to listen to or where to start.

When you have so many self help books on your bookcase and harddrive that it would take you years to read them all.

When it causes you to be unproductive in your business because you don't have time for anything but courses and ebooks on various topics and strategies.

When it hurts you financially because you are addicted to buying the latest book, video set or membership. In this industry it is all too easy to get caught up financially and overloaded with information, especially when you are new.

Learning is a good thing because it expands the mind, storing the information to help you to apply what you learn at a later date. But, you're only learning if you have time to take in and process the information. You can't take out (apply) what you never put in.

Now I don't want to deter you from learning because I am huge on learning and bettering oneself but I do want you to think before you get involved. Don't just buy because you think it's the hottest thing or everyone else is doing it. It doesn't help you one bit if you never take the time to absorb the information.Investigate: Figure out what the course, book or video tutorial system is about. Can it help you to get further in your business? Does it apply to you? Is it something you are really interested in learning? If you can't answer yes to these questions, then move on to something else.

Take the time to investigate to see if the system or course is a scam. Are there many satisfied or disgruntled customers? If the course is brand new, take a look at some of their past products. Do their customers feel that it is worth the money, do they rave about the product overdelivering or do they feel that it is shoddy and not worth paying for? You can save yourself time and money by doing a little investigating.

You will also want to factor in if applying the information is within your budget. For example, it's pointless to buy a book on PPC if you know that you can't afford to pay for pay per click advertising. It would be more to your advantage to wait until you can to purchase a pay per click advertising informational product to learn about it in depth and instead buy something that you can immediately put to use, which is the whole point of learning something. Why buy it if you can't apply it? If you are just curious, find articles written by reputable authors instead of wasting money on something that can't help you.

Everything isn't for everybody and that doesn't mean that the information is bad. It just means that it's not for you or not for you right now. Your situation could change and what you might not be ready to learn or may not have time for could easily fit into your schedule later, so don't feel bad if you don't have the time right now.Use moderation: You may find that there are numerous ebooks and courses that can help with the niche you are in. If you buy an ebook or two or three actually read them before going on to buy number four, five, ten and twenty.

I am big on reading and I love to learn and improve myself. I now take time to think before I invest in a tutorial system, ebook or online course because I have been guilty of purchasing too many books or courses without having enough time to implement them all.

Now I ask myself the before mentioned questions before purchasing. I give myself a day or so to think about it after I decide that the information it contains can help me, sometimes I take longer than that because I want to be sure.

If I still feel strongly about purchasing I do but if I feel like it isn't so important to me after all, I don't. If I decide at a later date that I have the time I can always get it later.

I don't have a problem learning more than one thing at a time but I have always been that way. I can read several books at the same time without losing track or getting mixed up but everyone isn't that way. Some can only concentrate on one thing at a time and that's perfectly okay.

Know yourself and figure out how much you can handle. Even though I can handle more than one thing at a time it doesn't mean that I can handle 10 or 20 things at once.

Don't bite off more than you can chew. Take bite sized chunks that you can handle and move on to more once you have completed when you were learning.

Facebook Marketing - A Guide to Advertising Campaigns

by John Courtenay

A good way to get websites noticed on the Internet is use Facebook as a marketing tool. There are two main ways in which this can be accomplished. These are paid advertisements and free advertisements.

Both types of advertisements allow you to place an image alongside the advert itself. To maximise the success of your advertising campaign, it is a good idea to take full advantage of this, and include an image that is eye-catching but also relevant to your advert.

If you are serious about advertising, then using the paid option, or a combination of both options, is the best way to go. If you are advertising a personal site or something similar, then the free way to do this is to post the link, along with some descriptive information, across as much of the Facebook system as possible.

To do this you need to post your site's details on friend's profiles, relevant groups / pages and also on any profiles with a large number of friends, for example, those profiles that belong to popular nightclubs and venues.

If doing this, you must be especially careful not to spam the system, as this is frowned upon by Facebook and could result in your account being suspended by them. It is important to note that posting on too many pages, too quickly, can have the same effect on your account.

If you decide to use paid advertising, one of the good things about Facebook's paid system is that you can target specific countries and even specific age groups, meaning that you increase the chances of your advertising campaign being as successful as possible.

A useful feature of Facebook paid advertising is the Suggest Advert feature. This works by scanning the target URL and reading some of the content, either through meta tags (if present), or from the first few lines of text found.

There is also an option to set a daily limit for advertising, as well as options on whether to run the campaign continuously or for a set amount of time. If running continuously, be careful not to forget about your adverts, as otherwise you could end up with some extensive billing charges from Facebook.

Users have a choice of either CPM or CPC advertising, the best choice out of these two differs depending on your website. It is important to note that both cannot be used at the same time on a single campaign, meaning that if you want both advertising types for a site, you need to create two separate advertising campaigns in order to do this.

Facebook sets the advert type to CPC by default and automatically chooses a bid for you, however, this can be changed using the advanced options feature included on the Create Ad page.

Also, adverts submitted using this system are manually approved, meaning that it can be some time before adverts are approved by the Facebook team. This process usually takes no longer than 15-20 minutes, depending on what time of day the adverts are submitted.

Be sure to read their advertising terms carefully before submitting an advert, especially the parts about punctuation, as if these are not followed, acceptance of your advert could be delayed.

Impossible is Just a Word

by Cicero B. King

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Who hasn't fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn't dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships?

Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that - dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.

This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.

But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.

Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.

On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations.

If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things ’you know you can do’. Under another header, write the things ’you might be able to do.’ And under one more, list the things that that are ’impossible for you to do.’

Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things ’you know you can do’. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads ’you might be able to do.’

As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are ’impossible for you to do’ to the list of things ’you might be able to do.’

As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.

You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic.

Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.

On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.

Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, "No pain, no gain"? That is as true as it can be.

So dream on, friend! Don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.

Top 15 Ways to Build Your Subscriber List

by Worrell Bertrand

Email marketing can be profitable for any business, no matter what kind of product or service you offer. It is significantly cheaper than other advertising methods and, if done right, helps build loyalty and trust with customers. As a result, you generate more sales and more profits!

The foundation for successful email marketing is a targeted, permission-based email list. Marketers call contact lists their 'goldmine' because it can generate much of their sales revenue. If you've built up a list of opt-in subscribers that are qualified and interested in what you have to offer, then you've completed the first step and are on your way. Now it's time to 'mine' for gold!

Below you'll find several list-building and retention ideas that will help you get the best results from all your email marketing activities:

Provide useful, relevant content. Your visitors will not give you their email addresses just because they can subscribe to your newsletter free of charge. You have to provide unique and valuable information that will be of interest or use to them.

Add a subscription form to every page on your website. Make sure it stands out so it is easy to find. If it doesn't look cluttered, you may want to include more than one on some pages. For instance, if your opt-in form always appears in the top-left corner of your site, you may want to add one at the end of your most popular articles.

Add subscription forms to your social media pages. Make sure that you don't waste this valuable source of revenue opportunities. Integrate your sign-up forms with Facebook and more!

Make it easy for readers to sign up. The more information you request, the fewer people will opt-in. In most cases, a name and an email address should suffice. If it's not necessary, don't include it here. You can always survey them once they're customers! We do recommend that you provide a link to your Privacy Policy however.

Publish a Privacy Policy. Let your readers know that they can be confident you will not share their information with others. The easiest way to do this is to set up a Privacy Policy web page and provide the link to it below your opt-in form. (Note: If you don't have one, put the words 'privacy policy generator' into a search engine and you should be able to find a suitable form to use.)

Provide samples of your newsletters and Ezines. This lets potential subscribers review your materials before they sign up to determine if it's something they'd be interested in.

Archive past newsletters and articles. An online library of past newsletters and articles is both appealing and useful to visitors and builds your credibility as an authority. In addition, if your articles are written with good SEO techniques in mind, they can increase traffic to your website through enhanced search engine positioning.

Give gifts subscribers can actually use. Offer an opt-in bonus for joining your subscriber list! Write an ebook or provide a PDF business report, or even hire a programmer to create downloadable or web-based software. But don't limit yourself to offering gifts to opt-ins. Give them out when your readers fill out a survey, provide a testimonial, success story, or a great product idea. Let them know when they can expect the next gift offer. Everyone likes to get something for free! And if you pass out 'goodies' throughout the year, your subscribers will feel truly appreciated ? and that's good for business!

Ask your subscribers to pass it on. Word of mouth is a powerful viral technique that works great with email marketing. If your subscribers find your content interesting, amusing or informative, they'll probably share it with their friends. This can be a great source of new customers, so make sure to remind them to 'pass it on'.

Let others reprint your newsletter as long as the content is not modified. If you're happy to share your content with the universe, then why not! Many webmasters and newsletter publishers are actively looking for high-quality content and, if they reprint your newsletter, you'll get new subscribers, and more traffic and links pointing to your site.

Include a 'Sign Up' button in your newsletter. If you're using plain text instead of HTML, be sure to provide a text link to your subscription page. You may feel that this is not required because the subscriber is already on your list, but remember that readers will forward your newsletters to others, or reprint them online. Make it easy for them to subscribe!

Add a squeeze page. A squeeze page has one goal ? to acquire opt-ins and build your list. Think of it as a mini-sales letter to go along with your subscription or opt-in gift. It should feature a strong headline and a couple of powerful benefits that should make subscribers salivate to sign up! Once created, use a service such as WordTracker to find hundreds of targeted keywords, and promote your offer using pay-per-click advertising from Google, MSN and Yahoo. Now that should make a splash!

Include testimonials on your squeeze page. This is crucial. Put one or two strong testimonials from satisfied customers on your squeeze page. This can be in any format, but you may find that multimedia (audio or video) is more 'believable' and inspires more people to action. To further enhance believability, get permission to use actual customer names, locations and/or urls (Don't use 'Bob K, FL'). Add a note inviting others to participate. After all, it's free publicity!

Blog religiously. Blogging is a great way to communicate with prospects and potential customers, and creates a nice synergy with your email marketing. Be sure to include your newsletter sign-up form on each page of your blog. You can start a free blog at Blogger or WordPress.

Post on other blogs. Post thoughtful comments and information on similar blogs with a link to your squeeze or opt-in pages. Also comment on others' blogs through trackbacks. In most cases, your comments will be posted on their blogs with a link back to your site. This is an easy way to generate new traffic and subscribers, and get your brand out there!

If they do, the link back to your site sends more traffic.

As the list of your published articles increase, the more of them will appear on different websites, getting you in front of more people. The total number of links pointing to your site will soar also. Major search engines like Google like content of value and will place significance on incoming links to websites, which helps them to rank sites.

The more incoming links the website has, the more importance search engines attaches to it. This will then increase your article’s placement in the search results.

Why's It So Hard To Increase Website Traffic?

by Dave Lewerenz

Tons of small businesses spend $1,000's building the "perfect" website, but never generate much website traffic... why is that?Mainly, because most website owners don't know they have to promote the site... they were "wowed" into building a beautiful site and told that they would get a ton of website traffic automatically from the search engines with little to no effort. Unfortunately, nothing could be farther from the truth!

Truth is, a website has to be promoted just like a regular business does in order for people to find it. This is especially true in the "online world", as no one accidentally finds your website, like people can stumble across a previously unknown store in a shopping plaza.

That being said... YES, search engines can bring you alot of free website traffic, but you need to give then a reason to do so.

Here's how the search engine game works:
1) Search engines can take up to 8 months to find your website... and even when they do, it's not guaranteed that they will add you to their listings. Even if they do list you, you may find yourself on page 5,000,000 or so.

2) Search engines are looking for websites that have quality content, basically anything that is highly relevant to us who use their search engine.

Imagine if you did a search on Google and the top 20 results were websites that looked like a 5 year old created them... They were sloppy, had broken links, tons of misspelled words, etc...

If your search engine only gave you links to crappy websites that didn't help you, you would switch to another search engine, wouldn't you? Of course you would!

So Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc... are going to list the best websites at the top of their rankings. The search engines make money from paying advertisers... so the engines have to provide the best quality websites at the top of their search pages in order to keep our attention and keep us coming back. Otherwise their advertisers will spend their money elsewhere!

So... What Criteria Is Google Looking For?
In a nutshell, search engines use a variety of factors to determine website placements, but the most important factor is how long a visitor stays at your website. If visitors come and then leave your site within 5 minutes or less, that tells the search engines that your site didn't help you find what you were looking for.

This effect is called the "bounce rate"... the higher of a bounce rate you have, the lower you get listed on the search pages. The lower you get listed, the less chances you have of being found by the majority of people searching for your type of business.

And because most people never search beyond the first 2-3 pages of listings for whatever keyword or phrase they looked up... most websites listed on page 4 and beyond never see any worthwhile website traffic from the search engines.

This is the problem with all the SEO hype you may have heard about... SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the online marketing practice whereby if your website contains the right words for your niche, then the search engines will list you higher. On the surface this may be true, however, there are hundreds of thousands of SEO folks all optimizing websites according to the same keywords and creating alot of garbage content to do so.

Thankfully the search-engines are cleaning up this problem and learning how to determine which sites offer truly helpful advice versus which sites are creating garbage that needs to get ranked way lower or unlisted altogether.

So for us smaller businesses who don't have huge advertising budgets, we MUST provide interesting original articles and / or videos that keep people on our website for at least 5 minutes, preferably 10-15 minutes or longer!

New Era In Internet Marketing

by Crystal Richards

I found a new way in internet marketing.

If you want results, you need to go back and see the kinds of advertising from the past, then look at the new way, today's advertising system, and in turn, you will see something different.

I like many before have had some rough times in trying to market and even advertise in this industry, still today. It was because of the going back and looking forward that I became successful in the marketing business. I have gained the knowledge from seeing my own mistakes that pulled me along the way.

It is not how you market, it is what you market and the way you market. You don't need to use colorful words or even those words that say, "ATTENTION, WARNING, STOP", with all those exclamation marks behind them. What you need is to show people something that is real, without all the hype behind what it is you have to offer. It must be real with no BS in the mix.

Honesty is always the best policy in everything you do. By keeping honest with yourself it is easy to be honest with others.

While one may become successful, making money by doing what ever it is that they do, you will become highly successful if you share with others and not keep your success to yourself. You need to show people how you became what you are today. Give others the knowledge that you have to help them become successful.

I have what it takes to help you in all your everyday life's activities, weather it be personal to what I love to do best, which is advertise and market.

Should you like to know more and wish to trust and follow me into success, you may reply or post a comment to this article. You may even wish to email me at the address below.

Search Engine Optimization

by Alan Whitehead

For your website to be picked up by Search Engines, it needs to be keyword rich. Your content needs to be unique and related to the subject that your website represents. It will need to contain keywords or the words that someone will use when they do a search to find the products or services you are offering. It is very important that you do proper keyword research that relates to your website and it is also recommended not to use more than 5 keywords in your meta tags.

One good way of getting higher rankings is to write articles about the product or service that your website is promoting. The content of the articles should also be keyword rich and relate to your website. Then you can post these articles in Article Submission sites with a link back to your website.

Sign up for forums and online communities to also increase your traffic for higher rankings. There you can place a link for your website that will promote your product or services.

You can also submit your websites by using SEO submitters. They also have free and ones you will need to pay for. This type of submission usually takes anywhere from 30 to 120 days depending on the service.

Directory Submitters can be used in which websites get listed, so the search engine gives importance to those directories. There are free and paid directories. Free directories are made to exchange links. Remember that too many links on your webpages, may reduce the page rank on search engine results. In paid directory, you have to pay to make link submission in a directory. For this the page rank is high and there is more traffic for that directory.

Article Marketing Secret Tips

by Pamela

Article marketing is a great way to get targeted traffic to your website or to advertise your services. Many businesses, affiliates, and a great deal of others use article marketing to share with the world about their services. But what is article marketing? It is a just like writing an ad, but with more detail. With article marketing you are providing more valuable information instead of trying to sell something. With this type of advertisement, you should be offering your audience trust. This is the number one thing to give them. You want them to trust your helpful information that you provide throughout the article. People can sense when you are tying to sell them something, so it's best to provide them with important information that's related to the service or product you are trying to sell. Your viewers will be more interested in your article if you provide good quality content.

Before you start writing your article, you need to brainstorm your thoughts and ideas. Take out a pen and paper and write down every thing. You will also want to do keyword searches. This way you will be found on the internet. You certainly don't want to be hard to find. You can write as many articles as you want, but if you don't use keywords, people want be able to find your articles. Also make sure you don't go over board with using too many keywords. Many article directories will look down on this. Some people think that all they have to do is write and submit to article directories and that's it. You have to put more into it than that. Don't rush just take your time and do it the right way the first time. Article marketing provides you with free traffic and you want to be able to get much of that traffic to your website.

Once you begin to write, you should have an idea on how to start after you've done the recommended research. You wan to be able to write a good eye catching title for your article so you can attract your viewers. The title should reflect what the article is about. Make sure your title is very descriptive and to the point. People are not going to click on the title in search engines if it's not impressive. You want to make sure you give the details of what it is about in the title. One you have the title; work on the body of the article. Make sure you give the details and stick to the topic you are writing about. Make sure the details are helpful. One thing you don't want is a person to stop reading your content. Provide good quality information that people want. If you give your viewers what they want, you may just get them to visit your website. Give them the reason to make them want to know more about your business or what you are offering.

The next thing you want to do is look for article directories. Make sure you follow the rules of the directories. Don't not submit the same article to more than one directory because you will have duplicate content on the website. They want you to provide unique content to the directories. Many times in affiliate marketing people wonder why they don't have any sells from the product they are promoting. One of the biggest reasons is because all of the affiliates are using the same content that is provided by the affiliate program. When some one sees these articles many times on the internet, they will not be interested. They lose trust of the viewers and it can be looked at as spam. It is totally important that you don't do this type of marketing, or you will never get any views, which means no sells.

Once you are finished using these tips, you should have a will written article ready to submit to the directories. Write many articles about every individual product or service you offer. You may even write several for the same product. The more exposure you give your business, the better your chances are for success.

The Importance of Press Release Distribution and Publishing Services for your Company

by AAA Commercial Broker & Consultancy Inc.

It does not matter how small or big your business is or if you have one or one thousand products, you must always communicate with your clientele. Press releases are one of the most efficient ways to do this. It should increase exposure and grow trustworthiness. It could even be thought of as an advert announcement. Despite, one should not disregard that however valuable and engaging your advert might be, most of people tend to regard it as embellished and overstated statement.

Really, in my understanding, few of potential consumers take your every word for its value in the advertisement. So how can you win the trustworthiness of your business? The integrity can be won if your announcement is appeared in reliable and upright information resources. Many studies show that the public trusts more the views of autonomous mass media and their representatives such as editors, journalists and commentators than the statements of salesmen and commercials specialists.

You can communicate with press by using press release distribution and publishing services issued to mass media representatives. Press release distribution and publishing services are one of the most valuable means to amplify the attention both of the public and media. How a press release should be written?! The most significant point of the press release is its newsworthiness.

Advertising these days is commonly well thought-out in corporations budgets to improve profits. Reaching out to your clientele has become more critical and complex as ever before. There are many methods offered on the web to publish and promote your company news, but one of the cheapest methods is to use online press release distribution and publishing websites, as many of these offers are free of costs or low-cost PR service providers. With online press release distribution and publishing services one can easily get to the targeted online community. Press release distribution and publishing websites offer press release submission database of free content and re-print those press releases.

Publishers, who are in pursuit of free distributed and published press releases and within their business community, who wishes to grow their market reach, make the best use of this major resource to boost their promotion strategy. Here are 10 powerful guidelines to write well drafted press release.
  1. Starting should be captivating: Your press release title and initial lines should wrap, what you would like to get across. The remaining part of your press release should illustrate the complete information.
  2. Prepare it for reporters & Medias: Reporters and editors obtain thousand of press releases daily. They most likely will grab your press release for publishing, if they can use your press release with slight editing or no revision at all.
  3. Consider your audiences interest: The audiences interest concern is most imperative to be kept in mind. That if you were a part of the addressees, would you be paying attention to and read the press release, you have released.
  4. Make it appear useful: Point out factual specifics of your business or company, as the public is also intellectual enough to make out what is factual and what is not? Present newsworthy information about your companys management and administration, products and services, events and trade shows in what they might be interested in.
  5. Tie the draft with authentic facts: Dont put deceives and embellishments on your write-up. If you find the content using much added extras, make it natural and authentic. If content seems too good to be exact, rebuff the tenor a little, as it may perhaps harm your own credibility.
  6. Use only essential verbal style: Dont use superfluous adjectives, extravagant language, or pointless vocabulary like The most powerful. Illustrate your story with slighter expressions, as verbosity distracts from your content.
  7. Avoid using jargon: Limited use of slang could be legitimate, if you intend to optimize your press release for search engines. The best practice to communicate your press release is to speak efficiently, using ordinary vocabulary.
  8. Avoid exclamation: The use of exclamation point (!) may spoil your press release. But, if you have to use an exclamation point, use it but only once.
  9. Company permit: Companies are very protective about their brand and integrity. Get written approval before putting in an announcement or quotes from officials or associates of another corporation or association.
  10. Company information: The press release should wrap up with a short about us description of your company, which should illustrate your firm, products, service and a brief history of your corporation. But if you are drafting a collective press release of two or more than two, in such case you should emphasize a portrayal of all the companies involved.
Drafting a quality press release is a procedure that requires huge expertise and practice, as every sole word of a press release may be scrutinized. This is the ground why many companies appoint public relation firms for official press releases and other media relations. Inexact or poorly drafted specifics in a press release can develop into a key cause to harm the reputation of a company or destroy confidence in an organization.

Network marketing the easiest way to make money

by John Champion

Now although there are a lot of skeptics out there it is true that network marketing is the easiest way to make or create a passive income for yourself. Now why is this? Why do millionaires say that network marketing is the easiest way to make a passive income? Because of 2 things…

1. Low start up costs
2. The system is in place already, you just need to duplicate it!

Both Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump dedicated a whole chapter to network marketing in there book, why we want you to be rich. In fact Robert Kiyosaki goes one to call it the perfect business and Donald Trump stated that if he was starting out all over again he would do it with a network marketing company

Robert Allen calls it “The Ultimate Money Making Machine.”

Now although network marketing has been around for a long time it is only recently with the power of the internet have we seen its true potential with people selling across the world to over billions of people. The fact that these millionaires have backed this business model speaks for itself.
Are you Tough Enough?

Now although the business model is simple and easily duplicated, there is a lot to learn and many people, 95% of network marketers fail…Now why is that? Well it is for a number of reasons really,

The think they will be millionaires over night without any work? But where in any world do you know of a business that requires now setting up? No self educating. Doctors and lawyers just didn’t wake up one day and have all their knowledge. They had to study for it. The same is for network marketing, if you don’t know marketing how are you going to market?

They don’t believe in themselves. This is very common and people can get discouraged early on when first starting out. Anybody can do this, you just have to be willing to put a little effort into it! Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your empire. Once you have the belief and show it, people will start looking to you as a leader and seek your advice. Thus creating a ripple effect with attracting more and more people to you! Network marketing challenges you to face what is probably your biggest fear: rejection. The people who are making the big bucks had to face a lot of rejection along the way to get to where they are. If you aren’t willing to face your fears and grow as an individual, you might as well stop reading.

Mike Dillard States…This isn’t hard to do, you just can’t give up! If you don’t know who Mike Dillard is, he is a guy who went from waiting tables to making 8 figures a year. Because he believed in himself and he never ever gave up! Many top network and internet marketers are where they are today because they made a choice, a choice to succeed at all costs and now they live a life debt free and stress free with all the freedom they desire!

One thing I have learnt from all of this is that you grow as a person; I am a stronger and more motivated person today that I was 18months ago. I follow through on my actions and thoughts where as in the past I didn’t.

Have you ever wanted to do something but hesitated and then never followed through with it?Have you ever set goals but never made the action plan to achieve those goals?

I use to do that many times and as much as I can kick myself I can only learn from it. Network marketing you learn to become a leader as well as a team player. Something a J.O.B doesn’t show you! Well most jobs out there.

Now my statistics might be a little out but there are a little over 20,000 people in the U.S alone making over a million dollars a year in network marketing! And let’s not forget that there is a lot of passive income involved there.

The passive component of network marketing is in the power of leveraging. As your business grows, the efforts of your work will be multiplied as more and more people help you to make money. Starting out can be slow, but if you are persistent, your business will explode like a volcano. I have seen people achieve six figure incomes on only a few months online. This is down to the fact the success breeds success, so by me helping you become successful I will become successful!

Even though the possibilities are endless, it’s still a business and you have to treat it that way to make money. Successful network marketers keep strict business hours dedicated to building their business. So in order to make you stand out from the crowd you need to learn to brand YOU..Brand Yourself! People buy from those they know like and trust so building relationships is vital in generating a substantial income online.

Don't Waste $$ Build Solid Relationships

by Harvey Akeson

The Number ONE lesson the money making internet professionals have learned, don't waste a prospect. The best advice any of the so called experts need to share with you is this one essential fact, to succeed you need to master the art of follow up.

If you earned a click to your web site or affiliate program, you PAID for it. Lack of follow up will destroy any chance of your being a successful marketer. If it is just an inquiry for information or a completed sale that prospect or customer is yours to convert to a regular online client.

Nothing so earthshaking about that, easy to understand and even agree. The hard part is the how. First and foremost make sure you give the prospect the opportunity to record their name and contact information for your future relationship building.

Relationship building is communicating with new prospects and customers. This can take on a number of methods. Call it publishing or broadcasting because that is the fastest and most common way of attracting people to your web site or sales offers. Publishing relates to how most of the world has communicated in recent years. News and advertising has been relayed by newspapers, radio, television and now the internet.

Today with the large percentage of people using their computers to communicate, the internet has presented yet another unique opportunity to merchandise goods and services. A totally and completely new industry of advertising and loyalty building programs has been created.

Publishing can come in many forms in each case it takes putting words together and reaching out for prospects. Internet networking is no different than ground based meetings, you bring together people individually or in groups with common interests and goals by written or published words. You inform them, create a desire or need then make it convenient for them to follow through with an order or at the very least register for more information and a follow-up message from you.

Making connections, building relationships by electronic means delivers some very unique opportunities to demonstrate your knowledge, expertise as well as "show off" your products and services. Building credibility and increasing awareness of your business is key to converting the prospects to customers and then maintaining that client base with follow-up before and after any sale.

Networking sites that deliver a number of features and encourages links and association of "friendships" are social networks, GeoString, Facebook and AdlandPro. They are free to join and offer advanced memberships and benefits. Networking and broadcasting your products and services are not the only benefit of these networking sites. Important to your overall success is the contact and exchange with others in your industry. Whether it is additional cost saving measures in production, a new or improved product, perhaps a new advertising media just starting out, your exchange with your fellow e-commerce partners will enhance and build your business.

Hundreds if not thousand of different groups of people are members and trade information and opportunities around the world. Geo String is social networking with a Twist, it pays members! Facebook, well you don't have be told, it has become wildly accepted as a social site for communication. AdlandPro has an online chat room to which hundreds are joining at different times of the day and night to trade business ideas and network building new relationships around the world. AdlandPro offers low cost top notch internet business services for the small operations.

Networking programs offer sales opportunites as you become acquainted with interested people and trade ideas and thoughts. It is just like a few years ago and a little today... going door to door displaying your wares....only now it's faster by electronic internet connections. Broadcasting your business, displaying your wares still means going to your prospects where they are...at home or in their places of business.

Just a few years ago the cry for business success was "location". It was important to ground operations or your "brick and mortor" store. Then it was location, location, location be it main street with lots of traffic or a convenient "strip mall" with quick in and out parking or the massive shopping mall with anchor stores bringing foot traffic and shoppers for your opportunity to sell them. Without foot traffic, or shoppers, your store couldn't make money. Today it is "surfers", we don't make sales and we don't make money until we have attracted prospects.

Just as the sincere approach and purposeful demonstration of your merchandise was the method for the door to door salesman attempting to make sales so is the same need today. Only trust and confidence is a little harder to build in this day and age, but it can and does exist over the internet. The need to build popularity (your product or service over another) and credibility for your brand. The need to build trust that you will deliver as advertised. Your internet promotion will work if your relationship with your customers is solid.

Demonstrating your knowledge, sharing your information and generally just building relationships is still in vogue. It is something when worked little by little that will build a customer base for your business and insure your financial security. Only by increasing your reach and maintaining your hard earned contacts will you expand and profit from the cost you spent to make those contacts.

In many cases just building a solid connection and personal friendship will deliver big dividends over the long term. A successful salesperson has "bird-dogs" or people to refer them business. Your connections can be a great source of support and testimony of your honest and worthy intentions. Trust and support will build you a working data base with "friends" of "friends" to boost your business relationships meaning more sales and expanded income!

Even if you never buy one thing, your value as a friend and your possible referral will pay big dividends in financial rewards in the future. Customers can be asked to allow you to keep in contact for updates and news about the product or service they purchased by subscibing to your newsletters.

New prospects can be rewarded something for free to disclose their addresses and joining your newletter or mailing list. A free offer giving you their e-mail address and permission to contact them further is an important part of your marketing program. Retaining and Relationship Marketing--building an online family will reward in many ways.
